After Declan Arthur suffered an ATV rollover accident that left him seriously injured, the Arthur family needed to update their home for him to live in. It’s been about 20 months since Declan was brought home but renovations remain ongoing. Declan’s father Gord has done what he can with what they have in order to create a healthy home to care for Declan, which included replacing the windows in the home himself. However, the largest window in the home, Declan’s favorite to sit at and look out at Silver Star Mountain, was too big and too expensive a job for him to tackle. Together with our partner Milgard, we were able to replace the window so Delcan could get his view back, and the Miter Foundation of Milgard’s was also able to give a $500 USD donation to the family as well.
